Affordable Flooring – Cadillac

Affordable Flooring opened its doors in 1994 and is more than just floors and floor coverings.

Affordable Flooring’s main goal is to ensure customer satisfaction with both the product and the service.  The business thrives on customer and professional referrals, says Gehrke, who’s part of the entire sales process.

“Because this is a small, locally owned and operated business, customers have the benefit of working with the same salesperson throughout the process,” Gehrke says. “Any questions or changes to orders can be quickly accommodated. We take pride in our relationships, as well as our product.”

Gehrke and his family moved to Cadillac years ago to experience the Up North lifestyle. His family has a history in the flooring business, he grew up working in his dad’s business, and he wanted to bring his professional experience and his passion for sales to an area where he also could envision his family flourishing and enjoying the great outdoors.

“Our business is unique because it is family owned and operated,” he says. “We take a lot of pride in putting our family name and practice behind our business.”

Gehrke’s focus in this business is on setting the vision, marketing, finances/budgeting, maintaining a strong family culture, sales, achieving customer satisfaction and creating a business that grows with the community.

“As a family business, I am responsible for the success or failure of the company,” he says.
